My Sciene Background Led Me to UX
My path to UX started with my in the health and fitness space after obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree — where empathy, communication, and results go hand in hand. As a personal trainer, I constantly looked for ways to make client programming and progress tracking more seamless and engaging through digital tools.
That curiosity to streamline systems and improve human experiences with technology naturally led me to UX design.
What the Music Industry Taught Me About Storytelling
Working in music and digital marketing taught me that great storytelling isn’t just creative — it’s strategic. It’s about understanding emotion, connection, and timing, the same principles that guide great design
Working with artists, managers, and PR teams taught me to think strategically when building campaigns (balancing visuals, emotion, and audience needs). That blend of creativity and systems thinking naturally led me to UX, where I now design experiences that are both intuitive and impactful.
